Fund raising events include yearly dinners, breakfasts, bingo, ceramics, ping pong, charity fairs, and an annual International Woman’s fishing tournament. In addition, revenue is raised by the rental of Club owned storage units.


Meson de Jesus provides free meals to the indigent and elderly in Guaymas and outlying areas. They are part of the outreach of Casa Francescana who also provide a free clinic and dispensary of medicines as well as dental services with the help of volunteer physicians and dentists. It also provides shoes for children in need.

The soup kitchen serves 1000 meals a day. The Meson de Jesus serves approximately 800 meals daily and takes meals into the barrios for pickup. Nonperishable foods are delivered monthly to the migrant camps.

Founded by Father Miguel Lozano Cordero in 1973, and run by the Sisters Desagrado Corazon (Sacred Heart). Their mission is to receive with open arms, those children that are at high risk or on the streets, and offer them a better future.

Rescate is an volunteer sponsored organization that pays for medical personnel and ambulances to San Carlos and surrounding communities. Their facility is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with 10 EMT workers, 2 doctors and 2 ambulances which will carry patients to the hospital in San Carlos or Guaymas. Rescate is funded entirely through fundraising effort of the auxiliary volunteers, donations, the Thrift Store and Gold Card memberships.

The mission of both SBPA Services, Inc. and its south-of-the-border non-profit, SBPA de San Carlos, is to protect animals and to alleviate the suffering created by their uncontrolled population growth. This goal is realized through a multi-faceted program that includes free spay and neuter clinics and certificates; and distribution of educational materials that promote responsible pet ownership.

El Cobijo is a home for the elderly located in San Carlos. Club Deportivo supports the home with yearly donations of diapers, food, and warm clothing. In addition, Club Deportivo supported the rebuilding of the home after a hurricane.

Seguro y Sano-Sana y Protegida is a non-profit registered in Mexico and Arizona. Their mission is to establish a shelter for women and their children who are experiencing domestic violence. Club Deportivo pours molds and fires them for their dolphin sale program.

Their Mission: Rescue, rehabilitate and reintroduce to their natural environment in the shortest possible time, wildlife whose integrity or health is at risk, always with humane treatment, the best possible resources, without participation in disputes and with a spirit of community inclusion. And to carry out basic and applied biological and veterinary research to improve the rescue, rehabilitation and reintroduction of wildlife.

The Vision: To be a center of excellence in the rescue, rehabilitation and research of wildlife. With highly qualified staff and volunteers capable of responding quickly and effectively to wildlife contingencies. As well as being a reference pole in the training of human resources at the service of wildlife at risk.

Castaway Kids is a nonprofit organization with over 32 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families in Guaymas and San Carlos, Mexico. Through education, culture, and community development, we create opportunities that empower students to overcome barriers and build a brighter future. They envision a community where every child has access to education, a safe environment, and the chance to reach their full potential.

Their programs include speech pathology, a soccer program, folkloric dancing, English classes and a music program. They have 100 sponsored students in schools in the Guaymas area.

Castaway Kids

This is an orphanage for girls up to the age of 18.

Provides meals, clothing, hygiene items, and everyday necessities that help battered women, teens, and children feel safe, clean, and cared for in their new home. Assist with utilities, bedding, repairs, cleaning supplies, and the upkeep of the home — ensuring a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for every child. Support school supplies, tutoring, life-skills training, and educational needs that empower teens and children to continue learning and building a brighter future.
